We develop intelligent software and hardware components for building system technology. Our focus is on building networking based on the KNX standard. Because of this focus, with our products and solutions we cover the KNX system comprehensively. In addition, we offer gateways, as well as software solutions for other standards such as EnOcean.

KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure
The KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure is an universal interface for the KNX bus. BAOS is an abbreviation for “Bus Access and Object Server”. Communication with KNX is possible both at telegram level (KNXnet/IP tunnelling) and at data point level (KNX application layer). Clients can access communication objects directly with the BAOS protocol via TCP/IP.
The device is configured with the ETS and supports up to 1,000 communication objects. The main application of the KNX IP BAOS is the integration of non – KNX devices and applications into the KNX system. The KNX IP BAOS 774.1 secure enables the full integration of a device into the KNX system, including KNX Data Security and ETS support, without implementing a KNX stack in the device.
The generic ETS database entry provides a list of data points and parameters. It can be used for a quick integration and for development purposes. Customised ETS database entries can be created by the OEM manufacturers.
The buttons are used for diagnostics. The LEDs indicate operating states and communication errors on the bus. Power is supplied via the KNX bus.
The device supports KNX Security and BAOS Security. The BAOS Security protocol is based on the mechanisms of KNX IP Security.

KNX Modbus TCP Gateway 716 secure
The KNX Modbus TCP Gateway 716 secure is a compact gateway between KNX TP and modbus TCP with 250 freely configurable datapoints.
The device enables easy integration of modbus devices that support the TCP protocol via IP and can act as a modbus master or slave. As master the device can address up to 5 slave devices.
The assignment between KNX objects and Modbus registers can be configured via parameters in the ETS without an additional tool.
Two buttons and three LEDs allow local operation and visualization of the device status.
Furthermore, the device can be used as a programming interface to connect one or more PCs to the KNX bus (e.g. for ETS®).
Power is supplied via the KNX bus.
The device supports KNX Security.

KNX IO 512 secure
Der KNX Schaltaktor KNX IO 512 secure bietet 12 bistabile Relaisausgänge, die vor allem für die Anforderungen von LED-Leuchten optimiert sind. Es können aber auch andere Lasten geschaltet werden.
Der Aktor bietet umfassende Funktionen für universelle Ausgänge einschließlich Szenen, Ein- und Ausschaltverzögerung, Treppenlichtschaltung und die Ansteuerung von Heizungsventilen (PWM für thermische Stellantriebe). Zusätzlich bietet das Gerät unabhängige Logik- und Zeitfunktionen.
Das Gerät unterstützt KNX Data Security.
KNX Block IO: Zuverlässig und sicher
Der KNX IO 512 secure – Schaltaktor 12-fach basiert auf der neuen Plattform KNX Block IO von Weinzierl. Sie bietet eine hohe Kanaldichte und setzt dabei konsequent auf Zuverlässigkeit und Sicherheit. So ist die Unterstützung von KNX Security selbstverständlich.
Zentrale Einspeisung mit Netzüberwachung
Die neue Plattform zeichnet sich durch eine zentrale Einspeisung für alle Kanäle aus. Dies ermöglicht eine schnelle und übersichtliche Verdrahtung im Schaltschrank und die Überwachung der Netzspannung. Ein Netzausfall wird durch eine LED am Gerät angezeigt und kann auch mit einem Gruppentelegramm am Bus gemeldet werden.
16 A Eingangsstrom, 12x 16 A Ausgangsstrom
Was wie ein Widerspruch klingt, ist vor allem für LED Beleuchtung eine ausgewogene Dimensionierung. LED Leuchten zeichnen sich durch eine relativ geringe Stromaufnahme aus. Die Leistungsaufnahme typischer Wohnraumleuchten liegt in der Regel weit unter 100 W. Gleichzeitig weisen LED Leuchten durch ihre kapazitive Eingangscharakteristik einen sehr hohen Eingangsstrom auf. Deshalb sind die einzelnen Schaltkanäle inklusive der Relais auf eine Schaltleistung von 16 A dimensioniert.
Schalten im Nulldurchgang
Bei kapazitive Lasten, wie z. B. Leuchtstofflampen aber vor allem bei LED Leuchten können sehr hohe Einschaltströme auftreten. Diese oft als C-Last bezeichneten Verbraucher beanspruchen das Kontaktmaterial der Relais stark und können die Lebensdauer der Relais deutlich verkürzen.
Zur Vermeidung hoher Einschaltströme kann der KNX IO 512 secure den Schaltzeitpunkt beim Einschalten in den Nulldurchgang der Netzspannung legen. Dadurch wird nicht nur die Lebensdauer der Relais erheblich verlängert sondern es werden auch Stromspitzen in der Anlage vermieden.
Versetztes Schalten bei Zentralbefehlen
Eine weitere Funktion zur Vermeidung von Stromspitzen ist das zeitlich versetzte Schalten von Zentralbefehlen. Werden mehrere Kanäle gleichzeitig eingeschaltet, kann ein Zeitversatz zwischen den Kanälen eingestellt werden.
Diese Funktion ist auch bei der Wiederherstellung der Stromversorgung nach einem Stromausfall wirksam. Die Parameter ermöglichen einen Lastabwurf bei Stromausfall und ein verzögertes Einschalten bei Wiederkehr. Damit wird auch ein mögliches Auslösen des Leitungsschutzes (Sicherung) verhindert, das beim gleichzeitigen Einschalten von bis zu 12 LED Leuchten auftreten kann.
Manuelle Bedienung mit Mehrfachauswahl, auch ohne Bus
Die Geräte erlauben eine Mehrfachauswahl für die Handbedienung. So können mehrere Kanäle gleichzeitig geschaltet werden. Die Handbedienung ist auch ohne Busspannung möglich.

KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure
The KNX Modbus RTU Gateway 886.1 secure is a compact Gateway between KNX TP and Modbus RTU with 250 freely configurable channels.
The device enables easy integration of Modbus devices that support the RTU protocol via RS-485 and can act as a Modbus master or slave. As Master the device can address up to 25 slave devices.
The assignment between KNX objects and Modbus registers can be configured via parameters in the ETS
without an additional tool.
Two buttons and three LEDs allow local operation and visualization of the device status.
The gateway provides a galvanic isolation between KNX bus and Modbus.

KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure
The KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure with integrated bus coupling unit and room temperature controller is the new generation of our KNX push buttons in the MATCH 55 series. Both the hardware and the ETS application have been significantly enhanced.
Extensive functions
The device is a part of the MATCH 55 push button series. The application offers extensive functions for switching, dimming, blinds, value transmitters, scene and colour control as well as a sequence controller and a room temperature controller.
LED status
The new push button has six bi-colour LEDs (blue/red), which can be freely parameterized. Four LEDs are provided for the double rockers, two are located in the middle for single rockers.
Acoustic feedback
The KNX TP Push Button 420.1 secure has an acoustic signal. Various tone sequences can be called up via communication objects for the highest flexibiliy. This enables, for example, a discreet doorbell in individual rooms.
Room temperature controller
The integrated temperature sensor with controller function saves time and space required for the installation of external equipment. The room temperature controller is not only suitable for individual heating control, but also for air conditioning systems and chilled ceilings. It can be controlled with a visualisation system, e.g. KNX IP BAOS 777 – Our mini-server with integrated web visualization.
