Since 1995, the Designplus Award launched by ISH has recognized products and solutions from ISH exhibitors that combine sophisticated design with innovation, functionality and sustainability. An independent expert jury decides on the winners. The award is presented in cooperation with Stylepark, the magazine for architecture and design.
Entry fee: EUR 325 per entry in the four main categories. Entry in the two special categories is free of charge.
Participation requirements: You must be an exhibitor at ISH 2027. In the four main categories (all categories except Young Innovators + and Sustainable Exhibition Stand +), the product must be in serial production (no prototype or one-off), must have been launched by ISH 2027 and no earlier than 1 March 2025.

New in 2027: Guided Tours – trade visitors and press at your stand
Instead of a separate special exhibition, Guided Tours will take trade visitors and members of the press directly to the stands of the winners during ISH. As a winner, you can present your products and solutions to relevant target groups and engage with them in person.
The exact dates and organizational details are currently being planned. Further information will follow in winter 2026.

The Sustainable Exhibition Stand + category recognises exhibitors for the design and implementation of a sustainable exhibition stand. It focuses on the use of environmentally friendly materials, resource-efficient construction methods, and the integration of sustainable practices throughout the planning, implementation and operation of the stand. The aim is to minimise the environmental footprint of exhibition stands while creating an inspiring, contemporary and attractive experience for visitors.
Participation requirements and evaluation criteria:
To enter the Designplus Award, you must be an exhibitor at ISH 2027. In the four main categories (all categories except Young Innovators + and Sustainable Exhibition Stand +), entries must be products in serial production; prototypes and one-off items are not eligible. The product must have been launched no earlier than 1 March 2025 and no later than ISH 2027.
The Designplus Award recognizes solutions that combine several qualities:
convincing design
technological innovation
high functionality
sustainability and resource efficiency
relevance to the future of the industry
The jury is free to assign different weight to the individual evaluation criteria. It is not required to award prizes in the Young Innovators category.
ISH exhibitors can submit their products and solutions via a dedicated registration page from the end of October 2026 (provisionally). The page will be available here from the end of October. For the entry, you will need:
A product description in German and English
At least two and no more than five product images or renderings (print quality, min. 3,000 × 2,000 px; max. 10 MB; JPEG or JPG)
You may also upload additional materials, such as videos or PDF files.
IMPORTANT: As entries will be assessed from photographs, please do not submit models or original products.
The more relevant information you provide about your product in relation to the category criteria, the better the jury can assess it as part of the evaluation process.
The winning companies will be informed personally shortly after the jury meeting. The public announcement will then be made from mid-February via the ISH website, social media channels and an official press release.
