Prodmax has been in business for nearly 25 years and has become one of the largest Polish manufacturers of chimney systems and ventilation systems. The core manufacturing business lines at Prodmax feature aluminium ducts, flexible spiral pipes, stainless-steel and heat-resistant chimney systems, and ventilation system components. Backed by years of professional experience, the state-of-the-art production plant in Żuromin develops and manufactures a wide range of standard products and customized solutions.
Prodmax was established in 1994. In the first years of Prodmax, its core business was manufacturing of aftermarket automotive accessories. In 2003, Prodmax expanded its business range to include construction products, like flexible spiral aluminium pipes , and soon became one of the largest manufacturers in this product sector in Poland. A milestone purchase of a thermo insulator processing line allowed Prodmax to launch the manufacturing of high-quality thermal insulation products from PE foam. With the gradual development of the business and the expansion of the production plant in Reguły near Warsaw, Prodmax opened a second plant in Żuromin near Mława to start the production of stainless-steel sheet chimney systems. Professional manufacturing and processing machines, including the latest generation fibre laser cutters from EAGLE or Trumpf, press brakes, rolling mills and automatic welding machines help Prodmax meet all customer demands.

Ventilation and Heat Recovery System
Heat recovery system (Recuperation System) This is a modern mechanical ventilation system that involves the recovery of heat energy by means of a heat exchanger. This process takes place in a special air handling unit (recuperator) equipped with such an exchanger. The principle of operation of the ventilation system with heat recovery is the delivery and heating of fresh air into a residential building with used air, removed from the building through the heat exchanger. Method of operation Recuperation systems are used to reduce energy consumption and daily temperature stabilization inside the building. In addition to heat recovery, recuperation offers many other advantages: the supply of fresh air, reduction of air humidity inside the building, no condensation on windows, no allergens, no insects (flies, mosquitoes), elimination of fungus and mould. Unlike gravity ventilation, mechanical and continuous air exchange is independent of ambient conditions. Mechanical ventilation can be further enhanced using a ground heat exchanger (GHE), in which the air preheats during winter and cools in the summer before entering the house. VENT-FLEX System is the latest ventilation solution for houses, apartments and small-volume buildings. Our VENT-FLEX System consists of flexible ducts, plenum boxes, distribution boxes, by means of which you can quickly and efficiently perform the mechanical ventilation system in compliance with all European Union construction regulations. One of the main advantages of VENT-FLEX is the flexibility of the system, small dimensions that allow installation in ceilings, walls and ceilings. VENT-FLEX: Flexible during installation Available dimensions include: 63, 75 and 90 mm Easy installation – without the need for special tools Completely tight and durable Quiet and efficient High hygiene level of the installation No corrosion – VENT-FLEX system eliminates the need to cut the ducts, for instance, by the use of an angle grinder during the installation, which causes the damage of the protective zinc coating layer and subsequently the corrosion in these places. PRODMAX Air Handling Units are complete ventilation units for filtration and fresh air supply to the rooms, as well as for the removal of polluted air. At the same time, the exhaust air heats the fresh air supplied via a counter-current plate heat exchanger with high heat recovery efficiency. All models are designed for connection with round ventilation ducts.
The important factors for selection of the air handling units for our customers include:
- Heat Exchanger
The most efficient and reliable heat exchanger is cross-, counter-flow polystyrene exchanger with high heat exchange efficiency, with efficiency of 98% of the reputable Dutch RECAIR Company, which has many years of experience, offering its products to the best air handling unit manufacturers in the market.
- Fans
The fans are equipped with the electronically commutated (EC) motors of the renowned German EBM PAPST Company with high efficiency to guarantee reliability and energy-saving quiet operation. They are equipped with the external rotor and backward bent blades. These types of motors are at present the most innovative energy saving solutions. EC motors provide high performance and control over the full range of the fan speed. Undoubtedly, high efficiency reaching 90% is the advantage of the electronically commutated motors.
- By-pass
The offered units are equipped with a bypass, providing room cooling if required, thanks to the direct supply of cool air to rooms from the outside in the summer without the need to replace the heat exchanger with summer cassettes which, from the perspective of time and operation is quite troublesome.
- Regulation
Advanced automation allows for the fine set-up of control panel parameters for the current system and prevailing weather conditions. Continuous fan speed control, setting time schedule, anti-freeze control, by-pass control are just some of the features of the controller to optimise the unit operation.

KOMIN-MAX DUO double-wall (insulated) stainless-steel chimney systems
The KOMIN-MAX DUO double-wall (insulated) chimney systems are made from stainless-steel sheet and designed as standalone stacks for flue gas discharge from gas or furnace oil stoves and boilers. The product is manufactured in a standard diameter range of DN100/160 to DN500/600. All components of the double-wall chimney system exposed to the flue gas shall be made with 1.4404 stainless-steel sheet per the reference standards PN-EN 1856-1:2009 and PN-EN 1856-2:2009.
The outer jacket and all non-exposed components can be made of other corrosion-resistant materials, e.g. 1.4301 steel sheet. The thermal insulation layer is made from non-flammable mineral wool with a continuous resistance to temperatures up to 700 ºC.
The KOMIN-MAX DUO ŻARO double-wall chimney systems with heat-resistant inner jackets made from heat-resistant sheet are designed as standalone stacks for flue gas discharge from wood or solid green fuel stoves and boilers.
The product is manufactured in a standard diameter range of DN130/290 to DN300/440. All components of the double-wall chimney system exposed to the flue gas shall be made with 1.4828 stainless-steel sheet per the reference standards PN-EN 1856-1:2009 and PN-EN 1856-2:2009.
The outer jacket and all non-exposed components can be made of other corrosion-resistant materials, e.g. 1.4301 steel sheet. The thermal insulation layer is made from non-flammable ceramic fibre mat with a continuous resistance to temperatures up to 1200 ºC.

KOMIN-MAX TURBO II chimney systems for boilers
The KOMIN-MAX TURBO II double-wall chimney systems are designed for flue gas discharge from boilers and stoves with a closed combustion chamber and condensing boilers, while supplying combustion air via a concentric duct.
The product is manufactured in a standard diameter range of DN 50/80mm to DN 200/350mm. All components of the system exposed to the flue gas shall be made with 0.4 mm or 0.6 mm thick 1.4404, 1.4521 or 1.4301 stainless-steel sheet. All non-exposed components of the system can be made from 1.4301 or 1.4509 steel sheet.
This chimney system operates at positive pressure. All flue gas discharge duct connections are sealed with silicone gaskets designed to maintain a sufficient operating overpressure and prevent condensate leaks. It is critical that the chimney system assembly allows free drainage of condensate without pooling anywhere along the flue, e.g. on the gaskets.
The air-tight combustion chamber allows installing a boiler in virtually every room without any safety hazards to the people indoor. The double-wall (concentric) system also supplies combustion air to the boiler via the same chimney kit.
KOMIN-MAX TURBO I

Chimney flue connection system SPOK
The chimney flue connection system components are made from cold-rolled black steel sheet, grade DC01, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, and 2.0 mm thick. The components are designed for connection of flue gas discharge from all types of solid fuel stoves and fireplaces.
The systems can be applied in chimney flues free from condensation from combustion of wood and solid green fuels.
Note that in accordance with applicable Polish regulations, each chimney, chimney liner or chimney flue connection installation shall be approved for use by a licensed chimney sweeping provider.

KOMIN MAX Single wall chimney system
The KOMIN-MAX single-wall chimney systems made of acid proof steel sheet are designed for flue gas discharge from heating equipment fired with gas or oil.
The KOMIN-MAX chimney lining is used in ceramic chimney pipes in new buildings and in renovation of existing chimneys.
Its components are made in the diameter range from DN80 to DN400. Individual components of the acid-proof chimney lining of the same diameter are combined into chimney kits
with prepared endings, allowing free thermal expansion of the lining. What sets this product apart is quick and easy installation and smooth wall surfaces, which means lower drag and less soot deposition.
All components of acid-proof chimney lining in contact with combustion gases should be made of 1.4404 acid-proof steel sheet according to PN-EN 1856-1: 2009 and PN-EN 1856-2:
2009. The remaining parts can be made of other corrosion resistant materials.
The KOMIN-MAX ŻARO single-wall chimney systems made of heat-resistant steel sheet are designed for flue gas discharge from heating equipment fired with wood or eco solid fuels.
The KOMIN-MAX ŻARO chimney lining is used in ceramic chimney pipes both in new buildings and in renovation of existing chimneys. Manufactured in the diameter range of
DN100-DN300. Individual components of the acid-proof chimney lining of the same diameter are combined into chimney kits with prepared endings, allowing free thermal expansion of the lining.
All components of heat-resistant chimney lining in contact with combustion gases should be made of 1.4828 heat resistant
