The baffle type SDKB works according to the chamber absorption principle. Its aerodynamically shaped frame of galvanised sheet steel (stiffened by crimping) is highly energy-efficient. All frame edges are reversed to avoid the baffle filling to be damaged. The glass fibre fabric provides protection against abrasion at air velocities of up to 20 m/s.

Insertion loss, sound power level of air-regenerated noise as well as pressure drops measured according to DIN EN ISO 7235. The baffle shows inert behavior to fungi and/or bacteria growth and fulfills the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022 and VDI 3803 as well as of DIN 1946 part 2 and part 4.

Materials: Baffle frame of galvanised sheet steel. Mineral wool with RAL-quality mark RAL-GZ 388, non-combustible according to DIN 4102 A2, biodegradable in sense of TRGS 905 and EU guideline 97/69/EEC. Volume weight > 30 kg/m3.
